Tox Pressotechnik releases TOX-ElectricDrive range

Tox Pressotechnik's TOX-ElectricDrive is a range of electro mechanical servo drives and control techniques in hardware and software.

The TOX-ElectricDrive line-Q2 with TOX-Servo-Powerpackage EPQS is said to be a low-cost, electro mechanic servo spindle drive which is offered in three versions, each with nominal forces of 25, 55 or 100 kN varients.

The stroke lengths of 200mm and the speed of 100mm are standardised for all drive sizes.

According to Tox Pressotechnik, in contrast to many conventional electric drives, these nominal forces refer to 'pressing and pulling' operations.

This helps ensure that many more flexible applications are possible, including mounting, pressing, inserting, riveting, caulking, punching, perforating, stamping, marking, bordering, clinching and compressing, Tox Pressotechnik says.
