Omron Industrial Automation has introduced the NV3 Series HMIs, said to provide OEM and machine builders with simple device connections to multi-vendor PLCs.
Omron says the NV3 Series is suitable for pairing with micro PLCs and compact AC drives or servo systems in small machines. According to Omron, the range allows machine builders to use their current choice of PLC model without redesigning an existing system.
The NV3 Series HMIs provide a single point of access for machine operators to change speeds on an inverter or motion controller, adjust the set point of a temperature loop and view critical production machine parameters or alarms.
Models with 3.6inch colour and monochrome screens (NV3Q) offer high resolution 320x240 pixel touch screen displays. Models with 3.1inch monochrome screens (NV3W) offer 3-color backlighting and 64x128 pixel resolution.
