JOHN Hart Robotics and Automation has announced the release of the Fanuc M-2000iA robot to the Australian market.
Weighing in at almost 10t, the M-2000iA is said to be the largest and strongest handling robot on the market offering 900kg and 1200kg capacities.
The 900kg version has a maximum reach of 4.7m with a vertical stroke of 6.7m which can replace dedicated lifting gear and hoists.
The 1200kg version is said to boast the most powerful robot wrist available, with a software option the maximum payload rises to 1350kg.
It is described as a truly functional one tonne robot, with the capacity to transport loads of 1000kg up to 1055mm from the roll face of the wrist.
The 14700Nm wrist of the robot is IP67 rated.
