Power generation manufacturer for the defence and shipbuilding sectors, Wärtsilä Australia, has expanded in to South Australia.
Wärtsilä Australia has opened a new service facility situated in a bid to give dedicated attention to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), as well as other large industrial sectors in and around that state.
Key to this new office in Adelaide is the appointment of Chris Field to the role of senior sales manager for Ship Power and Navy.
Field reportedly has wide-ranging and in-depth naval power and business experience and will concentrate on managing a team of experienced service personnel in the new hub of Australia’s Defence industry.
