The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport Australia (CILTA) and the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA), Victorian Division, will host the 2010 Supply Chain Summit in September.
The 2010 Supply Chain Summit – What’s New & What’s Next, is being held in Melbourne on Tuesday 21 September at the Hilton on the Park at a cost of $495 per person.
In the wake of the Global Financial Crisis the transport and logistics industry are facing many challenges. CILTA and the SCLAA are reportedly convening this event to ensure that the industry has a clear way forward.
The Summit will tackle critical issues including:
• People in T&L, attracting, retaining and maintaining top quality staff;
• What’s new in the supply chain; and
• What’s next?
Three sessions will be hosted by industry professionals and a CEO’s Panel will be conducted to facilitate open questions on the views of the future of the industry.
Guest speakers include: Michael Kilgariff (ALC), David Rogers (SCLAA), Michael Alf (Capgemini), Howard Croxon AM FCILT (CILTA), David Doherty (SCLAA), Giuseppe Devincenzo (CEVA Logistics) and Ken Bean (Metcash).
