The Institute of Instrumentation, Control and Automation (IICA) is holding at IICA @Home event at the Endress+Hauser premises on Tuesday 8 June.
The event will be focussed on the topic, Networks for Process Control, and is free for both IICA members and non-members to attend.
The event will be hosted by Jonathan Soanes of Endress+Hauser. Soanes will focus on topics of openness, integration and cross-fieldbus communication.
Using a process control rig he will discuss and demonstrate the relevant networks for process control: FF, FF HSE, Profibus DP and PA, HART (including WirelessHart), ASi and Modbus. He will conclude by demonstrating how these technologies support Plant Asset Management Technologies, using FDT/DTM and EDDLs.
