ITT Corp has announced that it will acquire its long-time distributor, Blakers Pump Engineers, for an undisclosed sum.
Making the announcement last week, the manufacturing multinational said the deal will strengthen its presence in Australia, specifically in the oil and gas and mining industries.
The acquisition is scheduled to close before the end of the year.
Blakers Pump Engineers has a reported 2011 revenue of approximately $27m.
