Australian Made launches new website

Australian Made, Australian Grown (AMAG) has launched a new website which is said to be more interactive and intuitive than its previous incarnation.

The site boasts a range of added functions to maximise consumer awareness of the AMAG logo and the thousands of products registered to carry it, making it an integral online resource for businesses, AMAG chief executive Ian Harrison says.

“The new website allows licensees to capitalise further on the recognition and trust most shoppers place in the symbol by connecting with the tens of thousands of unique visitors to the site each month,’’ Harrison says.

“For example, licensees can now add valuable information into free listing such as where their products can be purchased from, making it even easier for the 65 per cent of consumers who consciously look for locally made or grown goods to do so.”

Businesses can now register online to use the logo, calculate their annual licence fee and read case studies on how other companies have benefited from using the logo as a key marketing tool.

Licensees also have the opportunity to advertise exclusively on the site and consumers are being urged to join the Australian Made Club for the chance to win prizes and find out about the latest products on offer.

The resource centre provides visitors with the latest AMAG news and research findings as well as the opportunity to download images and school kits for primary and secondary students.

“The AMAG logo has attracted great exposure over almost 25 years of helping promote Australian products and businesses. By launching this new website AMAG continues to strengthen the global presence of both the logo and the businesses using it,’’ Harrison says.

“Modern, easy to navigate and information rich, this new website is a must visit.’’
